Thanks Lucielle for your words of encouragement-I need some! I think when I'm on nights I've too much time sitting here thinking which leads to worrying! My Karen Millen top sold for £12.50 which is good so just waiting for that to clear into my account. Posted an ebay parcel today as well. Only sold for £1.20 but it's towards my vets bill. Had a bit of an arguement with DH today because (this is going to sound ridiculous now, in my defence I am hormonal and my body clock is out!) he...wait for it.. ate the last tin of tuna! i went off on one about how I was living on a tight budget etc etc. In the end I used a tin of pilchards in tomato sauce which was a bit interesting mixed with Campbells mushroom soup and sweetcorn but hey it was a meal! I do get a bit annoyed with him because he basically has always had someone looking after him so he just expects food to be there for him without having to manage a budget. He can easily go to Waitrose (he likes it there because you don't have to queue-probably cos noone goes there cos it is too expensive!) and will buy himself a nice roll, luxury sausages, expensive crisps and will spend a fortune. At the moment he pays the mortage and other bills and the rest of his wages I leave to him and I pay nursery, shopping etc. It's better left like this at the mo because he is impossible to manage-he seems to think that because he earns the most he is entitled to spend it how her likes- and my debts are admittedly my own. I make him his lunches etc to help out and try and guide him. If we talk about money it always ends up in a massive row so I just get on with it myself-far easier. He always pays his share and pays for other stuff in the house so i can't moan too much. I do realise this is an unusual situation though-I'm working on it!HSBC Visa-High interest-£2349.23 Nat West £2605.18

Ohh how annoying. glad it's not just me!!! The meal planning gene seems to bypass them doesn't it!!! It really bugs me too.
Try not to worry about the Anne Summers stuff. See if you can return it. Even if you just got a credit note- you could put it towards a christmas pressie or something more useful than sexy undies- particuarly if your dh has eaten the last of the tuna IE. Not going to get any...

I am going to try to return the AS's stuff (as punishment-ha ha!) Finished my last night thank goodness and grabbed a couple of hours sleep this morning. This afternoon I'm off to the po to send a ebay parcel and then I'm going to go to wilkos and Asda to get some stuff for the charity race night I'm helping to organise. I've just said to Oh that I was getting smart price tortillas and peanuts and he was like 'You can't do that' and i was like-yes i can and noone will notice the difference! Am going to decant them into bowl before we go and noone will ever know the difference! Anyway i'm making a lovely pavalova so that makes up for it. I've got a £10 waitrose voucher on it's way from pigsback so that can go towards my Christmas fundHSBC Visa-High interest-£2349.23 Nat West £2605.18

Had a really busy weekend so haven't had a chance to post. However it went well! First blip happened at b and b sale when I ended up putting £6 in pot when I only wanted to put a couple of quid in. I stupidly didn't have any flaming change and the organiser was sort of standing around watching. Ho hum. Any way it was the Race night on Saturday and i spent about £4.70 on bits for that in Lidl on the Saturday. Anyway because I wasn't drinking the actual race night was really cheap AND i had a lucky streak and ended up £10 up-woo-hoo! That means I can get myself a cheap pair of sandals for my holidays as I haven't got any. Plus I've got payments coming through from ebay and I sold an old bridesmaid dress for £22.50 which was a surprise bonus! I'm off in to town to send it off at the post office. i also did a mystery shop yesterday and earnt £8 so all good! Now I've got to do my shopping tonight so am going to spend the absolute minimum I possibly can. Got loads of spuds so going to check OS to see what potato recipes there are!HSBC Visa-High interest-£2349.23 Nat West £2605.18

Ohhh you sound on track! Well done on your win! THat's fab! where are you going on your hols? I'm so jealous! It's a lovely day here but I'm so pregnant now I can hardly move, let alone make it to the beach!
There are lots of yummy things you can do with pots! I like cheese a potatoe pie! That is SO yummy!
Your oh makes me laugh, that is exactly the sort of thing my dh would say about the tortilla chips and peanuts!
Good luck and happy sandal shoping!

I got stuck in the smelly post office so didn't get to get my sandals! Will have another go tomorrow. I'm going to Menorca and I'm really looking forward to it-we're going self catering so shouldnt' be expensive and I'm not drinking so won't have that expense! The Smart price tortilla chips are really nice with dip-DH admitted how nice they were. I bought some lovely ciabatta bread-1 with olives and 1 with italian herb from Lidl and it was gorgeaus for 59p. DH was turning his nose up at me buying from Lidl as well-he is such a food snob-he won't eat own brand beans or crisps! I'm going to try some of the 2p sausages from Asda tonight as i'm on a big economy drive this week before hols but I shant be telling him! Cheese and potato pie sounds good!HSBC Visa-High interest-£2349.23 Nat West £2605.18

I spent £51.67 at Asda last night which wasn't bad as I had to buy four birthday and Father's Day cards and a child's birthday present. I bought those 16p SP sausages as well and they are camoflauged in my fridge! I bought some sandals in Peacocks for £12 out of my winnings from Saturday and paid in some money to make payments to CC. I had a 6.77 input from paypal so worked out that was £3.87 off my vet's bill which has it down to £23.06. Spent £10.08 on petrol last night. Was hoping that this would last me until Friday but not a chance me thinks.HSBC Visa-High interest-£2349.23 Nat West £2605.18

Got a payment of 12.51 from paypal today so only 10.55 of vets bills to claw back. I've made my payment to both my cc so all sorted for the month. I got my case down from the attic last night that I haven't used for a couple of years (it had mouse poo on the outside-nice!) and I found $45 american dollars in a bag along with a 10 euro note, various euro coins and some english coppers! Have sorted them all out and am going to change my American dollars to euros to get a bit more cash for hols. Nice bit of extra cash for me!HSBC Visa-High interest-£2349.23 Nat West £2605.18
