Or if there a neighbour you could ask to come and put them out for you? Or a friend? It wouldn't take long and it'd save you putting them in boarding and you worrying about them.

Had another no spend day today-go me! Thanks for the advice on the guineas everyone! Had a great thought today-I am going to keep the guineas in their indoor run for the two weeks-it means that noone has to handle the guineas who dont want to and will just ask mum and dad to give them fresh grass everyday so they can graze. It wont hurt for 2 weeks and they will be able to exercise everyday instead of being cooped up in their hutch. I will make sure they have a load of hay to sleep in as well so they don't feel exposed. Well that brainwave saved me £50! i've done loads of daily clicks as well so that i can save up for Christmas. I've signed up for love film as well-free trial and you got 1200 piggypoints-we actually drive miles to the dvd shop at the mo so might even keep this on at £3.99 a month as this would actually save us! Need to find some motivation to put mobiles on ebay tonight-feel so tired after nights! Going shopping tomorrow-I've written a list based on a meal plan so should do well hopefully-need to get nappies but hey ho. Would be great if DS was potty trained but hey ho-he is not quite ready-have decided to go for it when we get back from holiday though. Thinking way ahead but am going to use the reusable nappies for new baby-was not very clued up in the way of the MSE with DS-do you think this will save me money as well as being greener? I'm looking forward to doing the £10 extra a day June challenge and also the June grocery challenge. feel quite positive today and feel like I can turn things around. I'm really going to concentrate on this

    Hi again Becky,

You're doing marvellously and getting more and more thoughtful and positive with each new day. I'm so pleased you've got round the guineas and the indoor run, what a GREAT saving!! You've worked that out perfectly, plus your mum and dad will still feel useful to you.

Well done with the shopping, films and clicks too.

I definately think the Terry nappies is the best way to go, far cheaper for sure and so much greener. Get a plastic bucket ready and fill it with water each morning, then after use simply put each nappy into the bucket of cold water to soak. Then wash them all the next day when you'll already have started again with the bucket. A line full of fresh white nappies looks lovely blowing in the sun and wind.

I'd certainly try and get the little one potty trained as soon as you can, it'll be much better for him as well as you. As soon as you see him looking as though he might want to 'go', take off the nappy and put him on the potty. He'll soon get into what he's supposed to do and on each success give PLENTY of praise at how clever he is. All the very best with it and you'll possibly find it comes sooner than you think. Congratulations with all you've done so far and all the plans.

I went shopping today but am a bit annoyed with the amount I spent. I spent £84.07 which is a heck of a lot but i stocked up on loo roll, nappies, swimming nappies, 2pairs of shorts for £3.50 for DS and 2 vests for a fiver for me. I meal planned for the week and some of the things i'm making like cheese and veggie back and bacon pie I will serve half and freeze the other half so that hopefully next week I won't have to spend a thing. I also had a good look in my cupboard and can see loads of things that I can use for meals such as cous cous, lentils, tinned veggies etc and flour so I can make some soda bread. I got lots of club points as well cos i scanned all my voucher-i bought loads of value stuff as well. i'm going to have to hide my value bacon in the back of the fridge for DH-he will turn his nose up at it but hidden in my yummy bacon pie he will never know! Thanks for the nappy and pottytraining tips Sue-def going to start when we get back from hols. I'm off to do my daily clicks and to have a nose on the old school board for some helpful tips.

Listed 2 items on ebay tonight in last minute fit of good intention. Mind you I have just won my little boy a used pair of crocs for £8 so need to pay for them (I have the money budgeted for really-don't worry!) I made a lovely chedder and veggie gratin for tea and saved some for DS for tomorrow-unfortunately it was so yummy we scoffed the lot-apart for Ds's-and there is none to freeze!

Woken up in a positive mood again. I've got a friend coming to lunch and i'm making home made butternut squash soup-v old school! Tonight I'm going out for a curry with a friend i used to work with but we're going to a very reasonable place where it will be £10 a head and I've budgeted for it in my weekly budget. I'm going to put 2 tops on ebay today as well so thats my aims for the day. Just going to check the mystery shopping and do my daily clicks.

Think it [car] needs a service...eeek!I'm doing a test on the shortest route to work as well at the moment. I went on the dual carriageway last night which was 8.5 miles and am going to try the scenic route this am to see what the mileage is on that to see which will be the best way to take.

    Hi Beckseven,
    Congrats on your impending arrival!
Bear in mind that your car may be more efficient on the dual carriageway than on other minor roads especially if you drive at 56mph!! Sometimes shorter journeys of stop start stop start use more fuel and definately cause more wear and tear on the vehicle.
