Speeding fine?
Comments

Probably 3 points and £60 fine but depends!

Most likely both, but there might not have been any film in the camera.0

I was told by a friend that if you are near the limit with your points(10? for disqualification) you can opt for a 2 week ban. I don't know if this is true but he was told by his solicitor when he was trying to argue his points/fine in court.0

I thought you got the points automatically and the fine was according to the amount you were above the limit.£2 Coins Savings Club 2012 is £4 .............................NCFC member No: 00005.........

If the camera was loaded you'll get points and a fine. Unless you are a police football team-sponsoring businessman doing 156mph while using the phone on a busy road, in which case you'll get off scot free.0

i think that would be both, points and fine.
but check the dates, of the notice, if more than 14 days have passed, you can argue that the notice is served out of time.0 -

My OH has had a ticket come through and talking to her I want to challenge it but unsure how to go about it. On the NIP there's no photo evidence and no details of the device used to catch her.
She says that she saw a man pointing a (radar) gun at her but not until she was right on top of him and he wasn't wearing a yellow hi-vis jacket. There were no speed camera signs or mobile speed camera signs and no van. She wasn't stopped and first she heard about it was when the NIP came in the post.
Any advice greatfully received.Never argue with an idiot. He will bring you down to his level and beat you with experience.
