Thanks! ... the reason i asked was, i bought some "pre made" stuff to make a nude male, but it was drying and cracking before i even had a chance to mold him
This does still dry fairly quickly, just make sure you warm it up quite a bit with your hands before you start moulding. If it gets too warm, just dip your fingers in icing sugar to gain more control.

Hi,
I froze the cakes I make for daughters 21st. Make sure you wrap tightly with cling film. I defrosted mine before decorating, although I have heard that you can decorate when frozen. On the price front I saw a plain 4 tier square wedding cake decorated with beads yesterday. I was just thinking how easy it would be to make and noticed the price - £995.0 -

Thanks for this, I think I would let it defrost first. I don't imagine it would take long to defrost?
I just don't see how they can charge so much, how do they justify it? Let's say that each tier is fruit cake, and each is soaked in brandy over a couple of months, how do they come to £995??
The pricing of cakes really baffles me!:happyhear We are not put on this earth for ourselves, but are placed here for each other.

Thanks SK
That was for our nephew. Was probably the least stressfull cake I have done.
A few years now. I did my first one for ds1's first birthday and he has just turned 8
They were quite rubbish though lol have def got better over the years.
Got my mum's birthday coming up on the 2nd so got m
to come up with something for that.
DD's christening is on June 15th.
Will be doing soemthing similar to the blue one only pink/white and instead of ribbon I'm going to get some of that thin feather ribbon.
What have you got coming up? Have you done any courses or anything?
I would love to do a course on flower making but they are so expensive.
