Parking for Millennium Stadium

Park and ride is probably the best option. Be aware of the M4 widening roadworks which are ongoing until December 2009. They are between junction 30 and 32 in both directions with two narrow restricted width lanes open each way with no hard shoulder. You will need to allow extra time.
Cardiff has become a car crime hotspot yet again and the young criminals will be out this weekend in force looking for cars with sat nav cradles left on the dash, mounting suction cup marks in the window and bluetooth signals eminating from the vehicle. Don't leave anything inside - even the boot area is not sacred. Visiting fans are easy targets. The park and ride has onsite attendants and cctv in places.0 -
Thanks Everyone
We are leaving very shortly to get down early. I think we will drive into Cardiff and see if we can find parking if not we can then go to park and ride as we should have a lot of time.
Thanks Again0 -
cardiff is an absolute nightmare for parking recently. I would def go into a park and ride if I were you. Astronomically expensive too and that is if you can get a place. Massive buiding works all over the place and a really bad place for a stranger to drive in0

Too late to be of help I know but when there are any "events" on in Cardiff there are usually good park and ride options open to people and well signposted.
HJope you found this to be the case and you had a fantastic time!
Avoid the NCP car parks - costs an arm and a leg.
tbh you're better parking outside the city and grabbing the train in. Cardiff Central (for bises and trains) is right next door to the Millennium Stadium.0 -
Are you:j now? You should be able to tell everyone else where to park now!0

Absolutely!!!
Thanks to everyone. We had a wonderful day. Traffic was very heavy on the way so we went straight for the park and ride. That was definately the right decision. Easy parking and bus waiting to take us to the centre. Cardiff is a great city so good at handling big events. The Millennium Stadium is outstanding and what a match and the result we wanted. We were very happy and kids had a great day.
Thanks Again0
