We've borrowed a van and are going donw to Lakeside on Monday so am hoping the sale is on that day, cos it's a 2hr drive for us!

I'll answer my own question cos I just got an email from Ikea saying that my local Ikea sale preview is on wed 18th, so I guess the sale is on Thurs 19th. So my trip on Monday will be wasted for the sale :mad:

The email also states that it is all stores excluding Edinburgh.

M & S have a sale on homeware starting next Thursday for 6 days with the usual 20% off everything - not sure about the date of the clothing sale.

M&S are currently giving out vouchers if you buy £250 worth of foreign currency. The vouchers are worth £10 off if you spend at least £20 on womenswear,menswear and footwear but have to be used by the 20th July.

So I guess the sale stars after this.

You are supposed to get an extra £10 on-line voucher if you order your currency on-line too, I'm still waiting for mine, I did get the paper voucher to use in store that was placed in with the travellers cheques. Also if you order under £500 in currency you have to pay £5 postage, I forgot and got stung for it

I agree the sale will probably start after this, just when I'm on holidays
