Post dates of Summer sales here !!!

I couldn't find anything like this posted elsewhere, apologies if it is a repeat.

I know that it is only April and this week it was snowing, but I'm planning ahead and thinking summer sales! Does anyone who works in retail know when these will be?

I've got a bit of wedding shopping to do, Monsoon, jewellers and the like and would ideally like to take some time off at the beginning of the sales to get some bargins.

Any help or info appreciated!

the date of the sales is usually dependant on the weather , economic situation etc....so i don't think there's a definitive answer

They are generally the last week in June.It is the week before my birthday(3.7) and I usually treat myself.

Monsoon had a sale abuot a month or six weeks ago so you may have missed the mid season one, that said there will be the summer one but they tend to start a week or two after the other shops.

I used to be a bit Monsoon obsessed.

Hello,

I am trying to find out the dates of high street clothing store's summer sales. I'm thinking GAP, Next, M&S, and River Island etc.

I'm going on holiday at the end of july, and would like to get a few new clothes to take, but really don't have the ££ to splash out on full price things.

Does anyone know, or has anyone had any luck with asking the stores themselves?
I know when I worked at gap they were so cagey about dates it was unreal, and I was staff!!


This is my first venture onto this board, and very informative it is too! I did a quick search for this but just found january sale dates, so please accept my apologies if this query has been posted before.

The summer sales are approaching , hopefully with the nice weather too.
So i thought i would start this thread ( move if in wrong area)
Most of the sales start once the kiddies are off school, i think its the end of june in my area.

To start it off the IKEA SALE is 16th JUNE!!!
I got a letter ( detailed below) about a sale preview at my nearest IKEA so not sure if it will apply to all IKEA stores, as it does state its the Edinburgh store.

The sale does not start till 16th of june, unless u r an IKEA famliy member and your local store is edinburgh.
Show ur card instore during the dates above and you will pay the sale prices!!!

Hi,
Im wondering if anyone can advise me please. As areal penny pinching money saver, does anyone know when the 'Next' outlet stores have their 'sale of sales' where all the stock is reduced again, to get rid for the next wave of stock from the shops?
Im assuming this happens just prior to the high street shop sales, to make way for more stock to be transfered from the highstreet to the outlet stores.
If anyone is in the know I would be very happy to know!;)
