Hello,

I am trying to find out the dates of high street clothing store's summer sales. I'm thinking GAP, Next, M&S, and River Island etc.

I'm going on holiday at the end of july, and would like to get a few new clothes to take, but really don't have the ££ to splash out on full price things.

Does anyone know, or has anyone had any luck with asking the stores themselves?
I know when I worked at gap they were so cagey about dates it was unreal, and I was staff!!


This is my first venture onto this board, and very informative it is too! I did a quick search for this but just found january sale dates, so please accept my apologies if this query has been posted before.

Next clearance have alot of summer clothing in.
Sunnies all £3, many swiming bottoms and tops and lovely tunic to go over them.
Yet it maybe last year stock, still in fashion.

Do you know what date as we are having a week in the Algarve, going on Thursday and that is one of their favourite days to start a sale?

River Island sale is around 19th July.

Debenhams start there summer sale on Tuesday the 17th june. Stores opening from 9 till late ect. Lot of 30 and 50% off stuff. Then of course the Blue cross sale after that where 30% become 50% and so on!
