Did the court agree to his offer of £40? If so, there is little you can do.
You are luckier than many, if he is in that bad a financial state he could have offered you £1!Gone ... or have I?0 -
I don't think he is in a bad financial state he just says he is, he owns a massive detached property in Kent from where his wifes runs a cattery and he has another job, they have a nice Jepp out the front according to the bailiff! No the court said i have to write in if i agree to the £40?0

So your next step is to write back to the court and dispute the amount.
All because someone has a nice house and a business that appears to be doing well, it does not mean that they have money. They could be in negative equity and have everything else bought on credit (i.e. more debt!).Gone ... or have I?0 -
Does anyone know if there is such a website for Car Insurance claims that have to go to court?

Yes I read about a case of an illegal immigrant from Asia who had claimed something like £100 K in benefits illegally. He lived in a 500K house and what made the story was he made the investigating officers take their shoes off cos he had just had new cream carpets fitted.
And what did he get for ripping the country off over 100 thousand pounds? A 1 yes One pound fine because he said he couldn't afford it - I guess new cream carpets cost quite a lot.
Contrast that to me a British taxpayer - I was accosted last summer whilst riding my bike along an empty beach promenade - Branksome in Poole, by a beach warden and what I thought was a Police officer. I stopped and answered all their questions honestly telling them I didn't see the signs for no cycling. This was an empty promenade for 500 metres each way. They told me to stop cycling which I did and walked up to my turn off.
6 months later in January I got a summons through the door to go to court!! There was no option to pay a £40 fine straight to court!! I went - told the truth that I didn't see any sign and was honest and helpful all along. For my honesty and "guilty plea" yes I admitted I was cycling but genuinely didn't see a sign I got a "reduced" sentence. £40 fine + £80 costs + £25 "victim surcharge". I questioned this charge and was just told that it was something the Government had bought in.
Steal 100 thousand pounds from the country - pay back a quid. But I am warning anyone who even thinks about riding along an empty promenade, even if you don't see any signs cos there are none on your route - just don't ride along the beach - bring your dogs and let them crap on the sand, just don't ride cos you will be charged 145 times more than a crook who steals 100K off the country. Think about it, I would much rather everyone stole 100 grand and had to pay a quid than my vicious, nasty, heinous crime.
Poole council obviously do!!!:T0 -

If truth is bigotted then so be it!! I am not a BNP recruiter, racist or Xenophobe. But it is your small mindedness and PC sucking up that makes me wonder. I tell the truth, free minds have information at their disposal. If it is going to be censored by people who don't like to admit the truth then we are in trouble. :T0 -
