  • I can't tell you how they compare - look at https://www.adslguide.org or https://www.ispreview.co.uk for some more info.
I can tell you that they are both massively overpriced. You can get 2M uncapped broadband for as little as £13 per month from the likes of e7.

Check the e7 thread in the referrers board for more info on how to save even more.

If you don't mind paying more for a top quality service. Look a Zen . 2Mb is £34.99 a month, but for this you get a truly unlimited service. Have a look at the ADSLguide site. Look at the menu on the left, and click compare (HERE'S the 2 you mentioned compared to Zen). You can select up to 6 ISPs to se how they rate against each other. You wont find any company to beat Zen in speed/reliability or customer service.

They don't have any restrictions at all on how much you download, or where you get your downloads from. The only restriction is how long you keep your computer running.

    They offer........

    No download limits
    No bandwidth shaping
Up to 8 static IP addresses for free
    1GB free webspace
No contention on their own network
    Free migration
    One month minimum contract

This is really the best ISP for anyone that intends to download heavily. They never have problems on their network, all they talk about on the Zen forum at ADSLguide is Zen coffee mugs and baked beans. There are never any problems to sort out.

I emailed their customer services at midnight last night to request another 2 email IDs (free). When I switched on the computer at 8AM this morning. They had already answered and set the new email addresses up for me.

There are cheaper services out there, but with Zen. You get what you pay for definately applies. None of the cheaper ISPs can beat them in terms of service offered.

lol..........What I mean is that Zen don't cap your downloads or place any restrictions on them. The only time you can't download would be when you turn off your computer. If you have multiple computers downloading 24/7 this is fine with Zen. They really do offer an unrestricted service and don't email you with a warning if you are downloading too much like many other ISPs (even when they say they are uncapped).
