Evening everyone
Well today has been a bit of a mess for me, i had to take doggie to vets. But he's better and asleep now.
Spent bits and bobs, but payday tomo and this is the month i am finally clearing it all. All i should owe after tomo is my student loan which comes out my wages every month! I will have a very hard next 4 weeks to pay it all off but it will be worth it!
Mum has gone shopping so there is plenty of food, i will do all the finances tomo morning and then be set for the month! oh and ive ordered with my piggy points a piggy bank, so any overtime i do i will put strait in here when get it through wages. My aim is to buy next summer so need to save from June payday.....any tips guys? I am thinking to just pay off the student loan through my wages and concentrate on the flat buying...or does anyone think i should pay the student loan off first?

Thanks everyone for the encouragment about the jobs, its rather getting me down at the mo, i only started my new job a month ago, but its just not working out and i want out! I forgot how !!!!!y and unsuportive mainstream schools were! Anyway, am sure it will get sorted.
Eternal optimist, well done on paying off the catologue bill, that must be a bit of relief for you and one less debt to worry about.
Klane, glad your feeling more positive today and back on track, sounds like you've been busy with the mystery shops.
Jenjade, sorry today didn't go as planned, but at least you are being proactive about it.

Tallie - re your student loan - what's the APR? It should be very low... you might find you're better off putting the money you would have overpaid on that into a high interest savings account as you can get around 6.5% interest at the moment. If your loan is say 3%, your money would earn more in savings (if you can save and not spend it!!) Plus you could always decide to use it towards a deposit in the end... there are scarce 100% mortgages around these days.Debt - Loan: £1150 C/C: £4763 @ 0%.0

Thats actually a really good idea! I just opened one with barclays paying 6.5%. the loan at the moment interest is 4.8. So this way ill actually pay it off quicker with the interest ill earn. I am thinking more towards the deposit idea too. I need about 4k for fees and costs then a deposit. So this does seem the best option. Thanks very much. Im going to try better than ever now with my no spending!Debt for Tallie - JUNE 2009NATWEST LOAN......5000.00CREDIT CARDS........5000.00STUDENT LOAN.......7500.00TESCO CARD..........1000.000
