Help with Mini Share ISA

Hello, I've already used my allowance for the Mini Cash ISA and I'm thinking about investing in a Mini Share ISA.
Could you tell me, is it possible to invest in an all index tracker and self select individual shares in the same ISA?
Also, when looking for an all index tracker, presumably they are all pretty much the same if they are tracking the same thing. So whats the difference exactly? Is it just the charges? I noticed the A&L one on Fool. This one apparently charges 0.5%.

Can't see why not - although it seems a rather strange mixture to me - check out Hargreaves Lansdown's Vantage ISA Service.

Among those tracking the same index, charges will make about the only difference to performance.0 -
Thank you Carnet, but why is it a strange mixture? I've bought individual shares before and I had an index tracker in 2000. I thought it would be best If I were to do it again to wrap them in an isa.
Is there something more suitable to use my isa share allowance on?0
