I do not have an ISA but have £3,000 in a Cahoot saving account. Is the Halifax the best one to put it into now? I look forward to your responses. I have been reading the threads but not really understanding what to do for the best. Many thanks.

You don't say whether you want fixed or variable?
Have a look at the info here...
http://www.moneyfacts.co.uk/savings/search/savingsearch.asp?investment=3000&monthlyInterest=0¬icedays=30&instantAccess=1&noFixedTerm=0&age=0&accounttype=3&next.x=4&next.y=7
...and play around with the filters.
However, Halifax & Bank of Scotland seem to be the best at the moment (having just cut from 5.10% to 5.00%).0 -
I hadn't realised there was an option. I shall have a look on the site. thanks.0

I think the OP was referring to "fixed" or "variable" interest.isasmurf wrote:There isn't. They're the same bank!
