I just signed on and I dont have any but then I am not a practicularly profitable customer or maybe they are looking for the reaction to it first.

You would have thought they would have had the foresight to use the warning screen to mention this, the one that comes up to tell you things about changes and problems were you tick a box to suppress it after reading it. It has explained issues in the past such as delays in getting ordered travel money during the postal strikes and changes to the terms and conditions.

Actually, on second thoughts, I take it all back. There is something I've noticed about my 'Account Overview' page for the last week or two (or maybe more).

Between 'Account Overview' and the heading 'Current Accounts and Savings', there is a box with a red 'x' in it. I have just assumed it was a logo that hadn't loaded properly, but I see now that it is actually a link and, when I click on it, I go to a list of 'Savings and Investments', each one with details and a link for applying. Is that what you get, Someone?

I assume my IE settings prevent the ad from downloading in some way, just leaving me with the red 'x', so I've no idea how intrusive the ad would be if it did download.

    Anyone else get this?

Well they must be trialing it on some users as I've logged in today and still nothing, just my usual account screen list of accounts and offers to me.
Time is a path from the past to the future and back again. The present is the crossroads of both.

My ad (OK, red cross where there probably should have been an ad) has gone this morning.

    Experiment over?

Have all the others gone, too?

Sorry, not been on for a few days

Yer, my account hasn't been hacked (good to know). I know this mainly as I only ever have a book mark to the https page, if there was a man in the middle attack on your connection (very possible, with javascript its possible to change your own routers DNS server and all you have to do is look at a page) then most likely they would re-serve the non http page as it looks, then when you click log-in it would not take you to a lloyds tsb server.

If the site has a signed certificate then there would be no warning and you would hand over your username and passwords. (they would after attempting to log in just say "we are having technical problems, try again later).

Anyway, back on topic, my Account Overview still has a credit card ad at the top (taller than a banner ad, but its not all image) and the "my offers" at the bottom, so there is more screen space for their ad's then there is useful stuff!
