Lloyds TSB Online banking ad's

Is it me or have they just added more ads to their site, just logged in and they seem very in your face.
I'm sorry, but I thought they had too many to start of with, thank god I only have a regular saver with them thats due to mature soon so I can easily just ditch them and closes everything.
Would they have the casher hold up A4 posters as I talked to her adverting loans, travel money, credit cards etc (I know they have posters and other marketing stuff in branch, but it seems very different to how they are doing it online)

on most internet bankings, when that pops up, theres a tick box you can do at the bottom where it compresses and stops all further advertising...I am a poor student wife now but don't think I can edit username? i study dance and love it though of course, it'll be a career that doesn't earn a lot of money!!
lost 5lbs so far - up to 11lb more to lose i think, will stop if it looks skeletal though dont think that could ever happen!0 -
But it's all over the place, not just the welcome screen, if you just click on the account name theres an ad right in the middle of the screen!0

Turn on your pop-up blocker.0

I disagree. When logged into Internet Banking with Lloyds, the only advertising is the links to the left, that say Mortage, Loans, Travel Insurance etc. They're not annoying. Don't click on them if you're not interested in the offer.0

Just ignore them? Maybe one day they will offer you a service which will remove the ads for you at a cost of £10 per month.0

The online banking screen looks the same as it always has, there's no adverts at all.
There's just the navigation panel to the left containing links to apply online for other services, as well as for navigating around your current account, much the same as all online banking.
If you're actually seeing pop-up adverts, they aren't from LTSB.0 -
Are you sure you haven't been infected with spyware which has taken over your PC? Try Spybot Search and Destroy, Adaware and Microsoft Defender (for Windows).0

I was thinking exactly the same thing, what are the advert for is there a button on the window to apply for the product or link (if there is dont click on it)? Can you select the contents of the window and post a picture?
I would call their internet banking telephone number (I would recommed using the saynoto0870.com to find a regional number) and ask if this is really their website. Maybe they have started a trial of it with certain customers and you have been one of the un/lucky people to have been choosen I am presuming all of your financial details are showing up correctly otherwise you would have mentioned.
I also would not log back in in the meantime until you have spoken to them.
Let us know how you get on, as I use them too and there are no pop-up's.

I've only just noticed, from Someone's second post, 'if you just click on the account name theres an ad right in the middle of the screen'.
Whoa! That's NOT LloydsTSB. Did you click on a link from an email to log in or something? You may need to follow James's advice urgently, and phone their internet banking number.0 -
It sounds like you have been infected with some sort of spyware, as mine is as it always has been with the navigation panel on the let and accounts in the middle. The only time I get any info is when the offers to you occasionally appears.Time is a path from the past to the future and back again. The present is the crossroads of both. :cool:0
