got my confirmation letter today after having to pay 50 upgrade fee.

Given us a 1 bed apartment to sleep 5!!! had to ring them and explain cant get 3 people in a set of bunkbeds and 2 on the sofa bed. After a lengthy discussion, agreed we could have a 2 bed apartment


So hemsby 11th july here we come - hope is sunny and nice

I don't know if anyone else knows this but I read that earlier this year Pontins was taken over by the guy who set up Pontins. There are plans afoot to update the brand and give it a major overhaul. The buy out only happened earlier this year so it may have an impact this summer with regards cleanliness etc.

Is anyone able to go on the above dates?

My sis booked the above date for 4 adults and I am waiting for her to confirm whether she is still able to go or not.

If she isn't able to, as it came compliments of MSE she has said I can offer it up for grabs back on this website.

I hope to hear by tomorrow but as per Daisymac's offer, she would prefer it if the successful family did a name change. Only one named person currently on the booking so would be willing to add another name to it and then just say main name on booking unable to go and see if they could just be removed from the booking. Not sure if this would work but last year I was fortunate enough to get a free week-end in Prestatyn and managed to change it into a friends name for free and the family went in our place. If not would need to be willing to pick up the cost of name change.

I am off to a wedding tomorrow but I will try and find out and post asap.
