    Hi :hello:

You would be better off posting this on the Motoring & Public Transport board. Click the link/blue text.

A Board Guide may move this thread over for you if they notice this soon. But it's normally easiest to start a new thread on the more relevant board.

    MOVING THREADS FOR BETTER RESPONSES

Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere (please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. It depends on the car really, it could have been written off as it suffered damage within it's first year or it could be 10 years old and need a panel or two painting. Both would write it off.

It should be cheaper as it's difficult to sell on, you decided to ask didn't you. It may also be difficult to insure.
  • If there is no structural damage to the car and you can get any replacement parts that are needed at a reasonable price, then yes you will get a bargain

If you have to take it to a garage to get the work done it will not be cost effective.
;)I am not a complete idiot - some parts are missing;)
