    If what you're talking about is splitting up a huge mp3 file into separate tracks - try the excellent and free Audacity which will allow you to edit the file very precisely, so you can just delete all the stuff you don't want, leaving you with the track you want.

    Alternatively, convert the file to a WAV file (eg dbPowerAmp and then use the remarkably accurate and easy to use CD Wave to split the tracks up accurately.
