Onestopphoneshop & Orange
I bought 2 phones from onestopphoneshop on a orange contract last week. It took me 2 tries to order them as they said orange had declined my credit.
The 2nd time they sent me the phones but they won't work. I've rung orange & they say my credit had been declined again, but I've got the phones & paperwork already.
I'm assuming orange won't bill me, but I can't get any info out of onestopphone shop, I have tried to call them, waited for 50 mins, left 3 messages for someone to call me back & no resolution.
Should I keep quiet & just keep the phones, I've read the reviews on the net about onestopphoneshop & most people say keep clear. They don't pay cahsback ontime & the customer service is very poor.
Looks like I've had a narrow escape.
Should I try and get another contract phone with another reseller or might this damage my credit rating even more?

With regards to the phones in your possession, I'd hang on to them until they request them back. You've already tried contacting them and if they can't be bothered to respond to your calls then that's their problem.
It's possible that their systems may flag you up during a check, in which case they'll contact you to return the phones. Don't assume that they are yours to keep as they may pounce on you later on.
As for the credit issues, I suggest you get copies of your credit reports and check them as per Martin's articles on this site. Don't apply for more phones/credit until you have done this.
Tip for next time: never buy from crap companies!0
