Cancelling a mobile phone contract?

Hey, I was hoping somebody might be able to help me out.

I have just got a new 3 phone contract and its great. The problem is not with my contract though, its my girlfriend's. She is with T-Mobile and has been for going on 2 years. Last Jan/Feb she got a free upgrade, meaning she is tied for another year. She has since sold that phone for another.

I intend to try and get T-Mobile to match one of 3's tariff's but if they won't budge, is it possible to cancel it?

Cheers

  • Yes - just give them 30days notice before her 12 months is up. You could buy her out of the contract - for the remaining 1 or 2 months but you may get a better deal post Xmas when its dead for business.
