Best capped contract
I am looking at getting my son a mobile for his birthday. Rather than pay as you go I was looking for a "capped" contract phone. The only one I have found so far is T-Mobile U-fix @ £25 p.m. 100 mins 50 texts with a free 6230i.
Is there anything else out there?
By capped I mean when the mins/texts run out for the month it cannot be used, except for incoming calls, or when credit is added a la PAYG. therefore unable to run up a huge bill.
Many Thanks
John

Why not stick with PAYG?
O2 would give you 100 anyone anytime minutes/texts for topping up with £10 (and you still have the credit to use) which is better than the T-Mobile offer you quote and would leave you £180 over the year (enough to buy a nice phone).0 -
But it is also possible to get some good cash-backs on the ufix tariffs - a couple of months ago I got one from scancom - only an SE 290 phone but no charge for the phone and cashback covering the entire years rental after only two months / 1 claimI think....0

Try here http://www.time2talk.co.uk/t-mobile/TMobile-SonyEricsson-T230-Upfront.html
12 months up front but you get your money back. Just £24.99 for the phone!0 -
Hi, I just had a look at the scancom website and I'm not sure how the offer works.

Is there anyone that has ordered from scancom and are they safe to order from?
Cheers,

I ordered from them and got the cashback no problem - howevre I am not sure they are currently doing the pay up front/cashback month 2 option - might be worth ringing sales tho to see if they could offer this.I think....0

Cheers michaels. Can you explain this offer to me? I was interested in the o/p 750 mins. Is it £25 for the deal or £25 per month?
