Although you would normally expect this. We do have to allow for the fact that we do/can make mistakes every now and then (I'm very good at my trade after just under 30 years, but I still find my brain goes walkabout on a rare occasion while I need him on my side). A good tradesperson will understand a mistake, and would want to sort it out ASAP.
I agree, and linen is v difficult to work with, or so I'm told. I get any alterations done at John Lewis. Obviously the items need to be bought from there, but their workmanship is always excellent.Gone ... or have I?0 -

You've got to see the funny side of it, and it could be so much worse - at least you know you can get another pair if you need to.
