iv just made my first sale on ebay!!!! only posted it last night and deals done!!! will now be able to use that money to pay my credit card bill for this month and after managing to pay all my direct debits for month and paying littlewoods account and £20 each to loan from mam and my overdraft i am now feeling much better than this time last month. it can be done! am also now hooked on ebay and have been trawling through house looking for further items to sell and have added 2 more adverts. thought this might inspire others to try as i didnt think i had any thing worth selling. also those with plenty of time and comittment on hand check out eagerlearners thread on cashback sites, amazing what you can earn for a bit of effort. DETERMINED TO CRACK THIS DEBT ONCE AND FOR ALL!!!

    Well done

A bit like turning a tanker, but once you get a bit of speed behind it, it is amazing how the debts start to crumble.

well guys, bad news im afraid. got letter back from DCA today and unfortunately they do have a letter from me dated jan 2003 offering payment and they have supplied me a copy . so no statute barred im afraid. what now. definitely cant afford to pay debt in full (£1780) and am goin to struggle to offer any where near a decent monthly amount. my tale of woe goes on as all the overtime i am doing this month is now having to go towards a new boiler as mine gave up and has been condemned. approx cost to replace £2000) AAAAGGGGHHHH!!!!!! WHAT NEXT AND ANY NEW ADVICE HUGELY APPRECIATED.

feeling quite despondent this morning, am really shattered from all the overtime im doing and just feel i need a bit of a whinge so sorry if i feel sorry for myself.the boiler reinstallation problem has really caused a major upset, at first i thought just needed a repair but turns out its all been installed wrongly about 2 years ago.found out it doesnt meet building regulations and needs to come out as its knackered anyway.this has thrown me big time as all my planned overtime this month amounting to about extra £600 was going to go towards debt repayment but now has to go towards boiler. have to hope that next month i can get overtime as well but with working 200+ hours this month im goin to be exhausted.(i work as a nurse so am busy and on feet all day at best of times). anyway thats my moan for today might feel better later. hope everyone else is feeling better than me and have a good day.

well been on phone to NDL and they suggest offering a payment based on calculating my available debt budget and offering a pro rata payment of all my debts. im still not sure as i am up to date with all my other payments which include credit card, overdraft, catalogue and personal loan. i say im reluctant as i want to minimise the effect on my credit raing and by offering all my creditors a pro rata payment this will surely have an effect? i do manage these other payments it was just this unexpected car finance debt that has thrown a spanner into the works. what does anyone think i should do. i was going to offer a payment to DCA although a minimal one but explain that in the near future i would be able to make a better offer i.e once i have cleared or reduced my other debts.
