John, can you email abuse @ moneysavingexpert.com and ask them to change your user name as it is your email address. Unfortunately spammers can and do lift emails from forums such as these and you are likely to get a rash of spam emails.0

How is Becks not German? The bottle in front of me clearly states 'Product of Germany'.
I think people get confused about this a lot, but the fact is that Becks is imported from Germany. Pretty much all of the other lagers that are sold in the UK in multipacks are fake imported lagers that are in fact brewed in the UK, i.e. Grolsch, San Miguel, Stella, Kronenbourg, Carlsberg, Coors, Budweiser, Miller, Brahma etc. Boheme is imported, but that is just brewed for Tesco and some of the above named brands are genuine imported where sold in single large bottles, i.e. San Miguel, Grolsch.

The becks brewery that is, obviously being in the EU its unlikely that we would recieve our Becks from the USA, so Bremen it is then, which was in Germany the last time I looked.
A good point though as every single one of those beers listed as being a good deal is probabaly brewed under license dishwater. It pays to be aware of these things as Stella Artois from the UK tastes like shandy when compared to the imported original, do the taste test its not hard to tell.
Heineken is also now all brewed in country of origin as specified on the label.
I suppose I digress as the point of this forum is saving money but its good to make sure that the point is made.0 -
The free pint of cider does have a couple of drawbacks::
Must be purchased in pub between 5-7pm and you have to show the voucher on phone to the barstaff and then you must delete message in front of them to ensure you do not rty to use again!! I love cider especially free cider but it does seem a little bit of hassle
Cant you just forward the text to other people (and yourself) if all you have got to do is show the barstaff the text on your screen ?WHOOOOSHHHHHHHHH……..
Blimey what was that ?
That was your life mate
Oh I wasn’t quite ready can I have another go ?
