Unlocking Samsung SGH-X600 Please Help !!!!
Options
I have Samsung SGH-X600 currently on O2 but I want to use T-Mobile PAYG Sim in it. According to the instructions find in some of the forums.
When I insert T-Mobile sim card it ask for Password, but when I start typing in sequence * does not show anything but # acts as enter and phone says 'Password Too Short'
Please help as I am refering to following method (may be i dont understand it fully)
Model: Samsung X600
Turn off the phone. Put a non-accepted Simcard and turn it on. Type *#9998*3323#. Press Exit. Choose menu #7. After phone reboots type *0141# and hit the Call button. Turn off and insert another Simcard. Turn on. The code is 00000000.
In newer phones:
#*7337#
Thanks a lot

It looks like that it has done the trick ... it is accepting T-Mobile sim card fine but is showing 'Limited Service' network.
I suppose I need to get this sim card activated/registered
Thanks a lot for your help as it is very much appreciated0 -
limited service is often a sign of a barred phone with samsungs
