My orange contract

I have the orange 500mins ultd txt contract at £35 a month, but the reception isnt the best and i would like to move back to vodafone who i was with before. My question is can i call orange and move to their lowest tariff with i think is £15 and then wait a while and call for my pac code to move my number to vodafone. This i before my orange contract is due to end and i know that i will have to pay the remaining line rental but i am just looking for the cheapest method of doing so before my contract ends

You won't be able to change it to the lowest price plan, you can drop it one price plan to £30.

Alot of the companies have starting to do this now.

usually you can only move down once your over half way through the contract
even then you can only move one level at a time e.g. 35 - 30, can't go 35 - 25
and the minimum plan they do is £25
the £15plans are either promotional or sim only so wouldnt be available
