my current Vodafone contract has just expired (20 a month for 125 mins x-network) - was a 18 month contract

whillst I would like a new phone I'm not overly fussed as I like my K750i.

what do people make of hte new new SIM only deals please ?

15 for 225 x-minutes
and 20 for 500 x-minutes (the one I'd go for)

seem good - since you have no contract - you only have to give 30 days notice.

what do you think please ?

Mark.

  • Hi,

If you're happy with your existing phone but want to get more texts and minutes per month without have to sign up for a lengthy contract the new SIM only deals are great.

There's a few different tariffs to choose from, check out the SIM only plans on the website for more information.

If you decide to get one of our SIM only deals when you receive the SIM you just simply insert it into your existing phone and start to make calls.

    Hope this helps,

  • These sim only deals from t-mobile look better
    http://www.t-mobile.co.uk/shop/mobile-phones/sim-card/pay-monthly/

Quick comparison, £15 on Vodafone gives you 225 minutes, 100 texts, on t-mobile you get 350 minutes, 650 texts.

£25 on vodafone will give you 500 minuted, unlimited texts, with t-mobile, 800 minutes, unlimited texts.

As you have been with vodafone for 18 months, see if their retentions will match or better these offers, or ask for your pac code!!! :-)

My experience of these is very good. The company is saving money by not having to give you a new phone, and you are saving as well. I have used O2 and vodafone and both have excellent reception. I moved to O2 because being a mobile customer got me £5 per month off my broadband. Carphone
Warehouse also do a SIM only deal with their Talk Talk mobile for about £10 per month and they use Vodafone as a carrier.
