It does depend where they are parking. My next door neighbour is a council tenant and occasional drug dealer - his customers park across the bottom of our shared drive, blocking a car park, and run in and out. It's annoying sometimes but they move when I beep and I'm not too bothered. I can;t imagine what is going on for it to be a real issue to the neighbour - you need to park up in the road for a few hours and watch it yourself I think.

I would politely tell the neighbour it's nothing to do with you and to treat them as if they owned the prperty, what would the neighbour do then.
They would have to have a word themselves or if they thought there was something untoward going on then call the police.
Why is it that when some people rent a house, they think they don't have to take responsibility for themselves and think it's the LLs job to wipe their ar5es

Bet they all stay about an hour for 'in calls'. Put the rent up!

unfortunately that is not the case - Landlords are responsible for their tenants behaviour AND the tenants' visitors behaviour and the local authority may write to the agent / LL asking them what they plan to do about parking problems/noise what ever it might be - LLs / Agents then have a legal duty to investigate and attempt to find a solution - bonkers - but thats the law

A lot of interesting responses must admit my imagination started to run wild :)
Anyway the couple (tenants) are their late 50s so that’s wipes out a lot of the theories mentioned above!
I am not sure if it’s a good idea to communicate with the neighbour directly or keep the communication via agent? I don’t really know them so felt unsure if it was the right thing to approach them directly?

It could just be a sad and lonely neighbour who is jealous that your tenants have some sort of social life, or simply that the neighbour in question could be elderly/housebound & spends a lot of time at home looking out of their window at the local scenery and now feels their view is being obstructed (has been known )

As others have suggested, you could go and check the situation out for yourself. It would probably be easier for you to judge the validity of these complaints if you did actually meet the neighbour in person, but you have to balance that with the fact that the neighbour may then consider that they can contact you personally on a regular basis, just because. Some complainers simply do not like tenanted properties in the vicinity of their own home ( if they themselves are OO) and things that they would not bother about if someone owning the property lived there, become an issue they can kick off about. Personally, I'd go see the neighbour and be utterly charming (but neutral)until I knew the "facts", and then I'd have a chat with the tenants - good communication can go a long way to resolving these things.

LOL It could all be completely innocent - apart from maybe some wild bridge parties or the constant click of zimmer frames annoying the neighbours but age is no guarantee of anything.

You should go play PI tonight and check it out discreetly. Then report back here.

Once again many thanks to all those who responded. I am unable to visit the property as it's quite journey for me, but probably will ask if some friend/family (local) prepared to do the PI work on my behalf!
The irony of all this is that now i started to wonder why on earth these guys are getting so many visitor ?????
