I am not sure how to handle this hence in need some advice.
I am renting my property and the letting agent has approached me to say that a neighbour complaining that our tenants are receiving too many visitors hence causing congestion (visitor cars) around the houses. There concern is that the situation is unsociable and dangerous! He has asked the agent to convey the message to me, and requested my contact details.
I am not sure how to handle this, not sure if he has a point! any help

"too many visitors"?
Have they blocked driveways?
Pay a spot visit sometime and have a look.0 -
it really depends if they're parking on a public road or in a private area0
-
If they are legally parked in legal vehicles there is nothing the neighbour can do about it.(AKA HRH_MUngo)

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton0 -
Nothing they can do but a lot of visitors means usually a lot of noise.
A lot of noisy visitors will annoy the neighbours.
If they do have excessive numbers (and I have no idea how to define excessive) it may indicate they're running some sort of shop from home.0 -
"some sort of shop" - yes, that was my first thought as well.
Lots and lots of visitors may mean the drugs they are selling are very cheap.0 -
Lots of men callers, could indicate some form of "shop" or "service provider"0

Im thinking if lots of bloikes then could be a knocking kind of shop. The real question I would aks is if the neighbour has tried talking to the tenant about it ? If you have their contact details ask them as talking to the LL in the first instance seems a little strange. I suspect there may be more to this than meets the eye.0

I suspect all you can be expected to do is to write a letter asking your tenants to ensure that their visitors are considerate of other residents when arriving and leaving, and take care not to park considerately and not block driveways etc.0

why don't you park up nearby and monitor the activity yourself0

Was just about to write that myself. You'll be able to see first hand then whether the neighbour's complaint is true or just exagerating the issue.
