My niece is 19 and still has "freddie teddy", he's battered and missing several major parts! He's in all the holiday photos too! I remember many crisis situations due to his disappearance!
Because of this, when I had my DD, she was never allowed a "favourite", she needed something to cuddle (as I think they all do), but we swapped them over a lot. When we went camping and forgot one, we just went to the shop and bought another! She's 12 now and still has loads of them!! Call of Duty widow :rolleyes:0 -

In case this is helpful to anyone else, Blooming Marvellous have a lost / found precious toy bit on their website, where people can post if they need a particular toy, and some people post if they find one in the street etc. Its here

My toddler is very attached to a Mothercare rabbit thing, which goes by the unfortunate name of Boggy (as me and OH couldn't agree on whether it was a bunny or a doggy, and his suggestion was Dunny....!) I know I will be visiting the site if something dreadful happens to Boggy, as he only became indispensible at bedtime after Mothercare stopped selling that particular toy.0
