Supposed to be around 30 days max, from the date A&L first contact NS&I to advise you're transferring.

Contact A&L mid-week if still nothing?

as far as i understand, the 30 day thing is merely a guideline set by HMRC

if its a cash isa going into another cash isa theres no reason why it shouldn't take 10-14 days, afterall theres no stock to sell etc

one thing ive noticed in the last two months is that backlogs are building up with companies, theres pressumably been an influx of people transferring cash isa's into stocks and share isa's following the recent changes, this must of had a knock-on effect and thus a delay in transfers in general

How long does it normally take to transfer an ISA?

I completed a transfer form about 4 weeks ago transferring from NS&I to Alliance and Leicester and have heard nothing from either of them

We have also transferred from NS & I to A & L. Sent forms off on 19 Apr had confirmation from NS&I that account closed 28 May but still nothing showing in A&L. I have never transferred an ISA before and wonder should I contact A & L to find out why funds not showing? Also am I losing interest?
