My "doomsday" plans would probably include a box of chocs, a bottle of champagne and other stuff, some of which isn't exactly suitable for this forum. :D

Is the BBC taking on the role of trying to be guardian of the markets? Yesterday emphasising that a stock market correction was due and today (File on 4) arguing that a commodity price bubble had developed. I agree 'doomsday' overstates it, at least for most, and for those on low incomes in the third world most would wish for a collapse in food prices in particular.
