Pls Help We Really Want To Move!

getting really hacked off with the housing market. We have just dropped the asking price of our house to 15 grand LESS than it was on for a year and a haf ago in order to generate some interest. no calls for viewings a week later. surely SOMEONE must want a bargain!! isnt there somehwere where vultures go to pick up cheap property (other than auctions) ?????? any ideas of what else to do would be most appreciated! check out this link

Is it mid or end terrace? When built? Boiler? Gas? Main drainage? Just a few points I look for on house details.

Having the stairs in the kitchen would put me off; cooking smells wafting around the house.:(

    Hi there

Just had a look at your house on rightmove, its very beautiful, however just a couple things you might want to consider (in no way is this a criticism).

There doesn't appear to be a banister going up the stairs according to the photo? Just a thought but I just couldn't live with a flight of stairs without a banister as I am afraid of heights, also parents with young children might be put off with this as not very safe?

There doesn't appear to be a door on the ensuite bathroom? Again this is a necessary thing for me no matter who I live with.

Just a couple of points to consider for people who look on rightmove etc (me being one as I check it out at least twice a week).

    Hope this helps somewhat.

    Regards

  • There used to be a website called Property Snake that actually searches and lists properties that have reduced prices, but then Rightmove and co slapped a law suit on them and they ceased operations.

    I've been Money Tipped!
Local economy is a bit scary right now with the 'big' job losses in Frome an I think that one of the main agents (not yours) which has property sitting on its books for years has helped create a massively big local bubble. I love Frome, very much and I like the interior shots of your house. I wouldn't personally view it (if I were looking here) because of the oen plan kitchen (I'm another that like kitchen smells in the kitchen) and the uPVC windows (personal prejudice ;)). If I were a Bristol/Bath road commuter I'd prefer to live on the other side of town.

Its a beautiful house though. I don't know about price really because I'm not really looking at anything like yours, but good luck.
