SAT NAV - Whats the best value for money?

If you want to go slightly cheaper then you could try a Navman. It is slightly less feature-rich than the TomTom but still offers very relaible mapping in both the UK and Europe. All I really miss in terms of features (I used to have a tomtom) is being able to avoid places in a route e.g. If I know the M6 is stuffed I'd like to be able to ask for it not to be included.
Apart from that the Navman is a very usable tool.My eyes! The goggles do nothing!0 -

I'm a huge fan of TomTom though, and onto my second one now.... I have the 520T (The T gives me the ariel for the RDS Traffic Information, which i find invaluable!)
