I wouldn't rely too heavily on it arriving for Christmas. Mine only arrived today (for my niece), and I ordered it several weeks ago. It is great quality though, and well worth the fiver. I've just double-checked the website for delivery times, and it says to order by the 8th in order to deliver for xmas:(

How come you all got your books before me then when I started this years part of the thread and must of ordered before you?
mine arrived yesterday and I was really pleased with it, although the printing has been overprinted towards the end so i would check that yours is ok all the way through, all names spelt right though.
glad to see the extra info I put in the original thread has been useful to so many of you.
i am sure that all the kids getting these for xmas will be really pleased with them.

Hi - my final books arrived today. And after you mentioning it - just checked some of the books. A couple of them have the names overprinted at the back, which is a shame but not to bad! Overall though I am delighted with them. Really worth the money!

Hi, I received mine middle of last week and after reading a few other posts double checked it all. Quite a few of the words have been double printed so they can't be read and they had put in the wrong Birthday for my daughter:( Telephoned the number posted earlier, who gave me a number for the printers, spoke to a very hepful young lady there who took all the details again and said they would reprint it and send it out ASAP.:j Fingers crossed it arrives in time for Christmas!:rolleyes:0

I ordered 3 different books on 01 Dec and have received just one so far on the 14th.
Unfortunately like others the names have been double printed in places making them difficult to read.
Will call c/s tomorrow to see what's happened to the others and try and get a reprint of the one I have.
For reference, when i ordered the website stated that all orders placed before the 8th would receive their book in time for xmas.0 -
Having just spoken to Mattel who in turn requested I contact the printers directly, I've come to the conclusion that the whole order system process is a complete shambles.
The orders are placed with Mattel, then passed to a a marketing company called Chilli who in turn pass it onto a printing company who couldn't give a damn about your order. The response about the double printed book was, you may receive a replacement by MID January !! They have also denied accepting my order for 2 further books even though I have confirmation E-mails and the monies left my account 17 days ago and Chilli say they have definately received my order.
I realise this was posted in good faith by the OP, but I would NOT reccomend this service to anyone. Stay away from them !!!0 -

lauhol1980 who posted previous to you with the same problem seemed to find the person she spoke to at the printers helpful (it would be interesting for lauhol1980 to let us know if the book has arrived yet though!), maybe you should try again and see if you get someone better. If it has been a fault of theirs, then I would expect a reprint sent by special delivery. With confirmation emails and money out of your account, I can't see how they can deny the order for the other booksI'm a little angelBUT A WHOLE LOTTA DEVIL

Haven't rec'd my replacement book yet but spoke to the same lady who was really helpful the other day, who apologised for the delay and the problems I had had. She said my book was being sent today and should be with me either tomorrow or Thurs. The lady was extremely helpful and apologetic on both my phone calls. I have recommended them to friends of mine, the only thing I would change is I would have ordered earlier so that if there were any probs I would have more time to sort them.0 -
Just a quick update, my replacement book came this morning. The envelope was a prepaid second class postage envelope however, this had been crossed out and had been refranked as first class to ensure I got it quickly!!
Daughters Birthday is printed correctly, one name has been slightly double printed but is still readable unlike in the first book I received. Book is lovely and DD1 will adore it!:j Fantastic customer service all round, will be ordering another one for a friends daughters Birthday after Christmas.
