You would be amazed at what you think is a load of ****,people on ebay fall over themselves to buy:rotfl: .

Or now the better weather is here, how about a car boot sale?.

I don't have a car, so the car boot isn't an option..

I sold anything of value (records) a few years back - though i'll have to have a good rummage to see if i can find anything that will help with the fee..
What came first, the music or the misery? Did I listen to pop music because I was miserable? Or was I miserable because I listened to pop music?

Hi! I am in a very similar situation - was ill health retired in March 06 and am still not working. I was lucky and a friend loaned me my br fees. I paid the lower rate and was receiving Income support with incapacity credits. Have you applied for disability benefit? The CAB will help you to fill in all the forms etc. I found them really helpful and received my benefit within 3 wks! Even at the lowest rate its £64 a month which would help towards the court fee. Good luck

I'm on the higher rate of Incapacity Benefit, i've read up on DLA but don't think i will qualify as i don't need help in looking after myself etc - i suffer from mental health problems.. Though someone did suggest i apply for DLA anyway as they can only say no..

Form for court fee exemption here

    http://www.hmcourts-service.gov.uk/courtfinder/forms/ex160.pdf
    (form ex160)

    Guidance form here
    http://www.hmcourts-service.gov.uk/courtfinder/forms/ex160a_e.pdf
(ex160a do I have to pay the fees?)

Thanks for that, it would appear that i would qualify under the annual income section rather than being on a means tested benefit.

I don't know anything about them but i've seen them on a couple of threads on here in the past.. might be worth a try
    http://www.capuk.org/

After looking at the site, they appear to offer the same as people like Payplan, CCCS & Community Legal Advice where they mange the debts through a DMP..

A DMP is not really an option to me according to my advisor as i wouldn't be able to pay any of my creditors anything while i am off work..

Not unless i missed something on the site - lol.. But thanks for the link, it was an option to look at which is kinda what i need now..

I've just spoken to my advisor who is applying to a charity, but if that fails they say my best option is for them to write to my creditors saying i can't pay anything and am saving for the BR fee which may take 10 months and see what happens..
