anyone left a positive feedback for a negative buyer with a negative comment?
i have,i know it will still count as a positive rating but it should help make a mockery of the new rules,i hope.

against high volume buyers/sellers thats almost totally futile as you comments will soon get lost in hords of feeback that they will receive.
either way though i am tempted to adopt that ploy0 -
Personally I think if we stop leaving feedback that will have more of an impact. No feedback - scores for buyers don't move up. The whole pooint of feedback was to work in a safer environement for BOTH buyers and sellers. I also thought about leaving positive negative, but then a buyer is still getting a feedback score and in the case of high volume sellers (as said above) it will get lost in the general green, also you can now click on positive and neutral to find out what people have said so there is no need to read the green!
Don't leave any feedback at all! Problem solved. :rolleyes:0 -
I refuse to rewards a poor buyer with positive feedback. All that will happen is that their feedback will continue to increase and stay at 100% and no one will ever bother looking for negative comments anyway.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Best to leave no feedback at all and not allow the buyer the satisfaction of seeing the feedback score increase.0

I quite agree better give nothing than increasing their feedback score. If its a NPB making sure they get a strike is about the best a seller can do now.0 -
I sold an item on 8th May, still waiting for payment that was apparently sent on 15th May - I only know this from the top of the item description as the winning bidder has not bothered to contact me. Let's face it, why should she? There is practically nothing I can do to her! She, however, can neg me for hassle...
I shall only give positive feedback when I have had positive feedback first, but will consider the OP's suggestion if there is very little feedback anyway, so that it might stand out!
I have just re-written my 'me' page to try and drop the subtle hint that even as a small seller I will use the (few) rights that I have left.I can cook and sew, make flowers grow.0 -
Hey... just had an amusing idea... leave a positive full of expletives

Then report it

Well... they'd see their feedback score go up :j
Then they'd realise it was full of expletives
Then it would be removed and they'd watch their score go down again
Pointless and trivial, but someone might get kicks out of it
