My telewest contract is due to run out soon - so i've been reading some of the posts for some tips..

I phoned up telewest and tried to haggle for a better deal as advised in a previous post..

the best i got offered was.. 19.99pm for 1mb and unlimted download which around december time it'll be rising to 4mb.. this includes a starter pack tv deal...

now i would say this is a good deal... do u think i should go for it? or can someone recommend something else?

    If you're happy with Telewest and as you say the 1MB (rising to 4MB) is 'unlimited' plus a free starter pack TV - I'd accept IF it included the receiver also :)

    Just remember that Telewest could well be hoping you take a higher TV package sooner or later but as the deal stands it isn't spectacular but OK ;)
