Orange Payg New Tariff.(Beware if calling NGN number)

Be careful if you are dialling ngn numbers on the new Orange payg service which charges 15p a minute to 01/02 landline and Orange numbers.

Orange have confirmed to me that they charge 25p a minute at all times to call 0500/0800/0808/0844/0845/0870/0871 numbers.

Still at least you can beat there mobile cross network charges of 35p a minute by using the Telediscount 0871 mobile dial through access number 0871 999 74 74 ,at 25p a min.(min call charge will apply if you dont get through.)

Just a thought if you use the little known indirect access number
0200 222 0700 this will allow you to call 0500/0800/0808 numbers.So you can get them down to 15p a min.
