    Ok around about March this year i tried to create a standing order with my bank (natwest) to pay my rent on a weekly basis, this was the first time i had completed a standing order form...i filled it out in front of the lady in the bank...i hadn't seen the preferred date of payment options..ie weekly...fortnightly...and monthly, so the lady asked me which option id like...i specifically told the lady that i would like the money to come out every Thursday (which is my pay day..that way at least i can feel assured that the most important bill gets paid first)Today i received a letter from the council stating that they will be applying to the courts for repossession of the house...because i was now 521 pounds in arrears, and unless i can pay the full amount by the 5th of august..I'll be evicted, i spoke to the council and they said that only one payment of 50 pounds had been received from natwest)
    Ive written to natwest explaining that the problem was on their side, it was their fault that the funds were not sent to the council (i have not asked them to pay any of the money 521 pounds) but what im disgusted with is the treatment i received from natwest, as they tried to deny any responsibility and tried to blame me for the problem and because i raised my voice and said to the manager "dont sit there talking [EMAIL="sh@t"]sh@t[/EMAIL] to me when im facing eviction" the manager then threw me out of the bank. Today i received a two letters from natwest ...the first one was to tell me that they have decided to close my account (i have till September the 8th to find a new account) the second letter was also to say that the 300 pounds acrewed in charges from a 50 pounds overdraft must be paid back immediately (even though they lied to me when i asked for a current account...they said the only account available to me was the advantage gold) when i brought it to their attention that they placed me on a AGAccount because they get a bonus if they reach there target...they lied and said that they get nothing whatsoever...so to sum it all up they have put me in a difficult situation where i now have to find 521pounds or face eviction plus they are demanding 300pounds to balance the advantage gold account and they have just closed my accounts!....SURELY THERE MUST BE SOMETHING I CAN DO ABOUT IT....ANY HELP WOULD BE APPREICEATED
