    I've been Money Tipped!
Last night Solihull. The cheesy nibbles in tubes 1.99 each 2 for 3.00. I bough mini chedders and cheese squares. Got charged full price.

Refunded without the C/S even checking. So as far as I know label still there. Its a shame I don't live near this store refreshing nice C/S staff.

Also my first malt whisky find - at last - yippee!

Glen Rannoch (Tesco own brand single malt whisky - very drinkable if lacking complexity), this has been on special offer at £8.99 for months, and is my preferred evening tipple. However whisky is now scanning at £9.99 (presume a pre-Christmas price increase). Addlestone again have replaced the SEL now, but I suspect there are plenty in other Tescos as the whisky tends to get hidden unloved on a bottom shelf.

    Rufus.

I had the last couple of bottles from Camberley, The Meadows today, still SEL @ £8.99, scanned @ £9.99 - thanks
    - Also Golden grahams came through as BOGOF
    - Tesco Chocolate Milkshakes in the 2 for £1.60 came up in the offer

The only scanner I know of there is by the deodorants etc. To find it, go up the aisle as you go in until you turn right by the baby stuff and smellies and then its immediately on your right in the first aisle (as if you double back on yourself to go back toward the tills). Wife thinks theres another up by the kitchen/taste trial area at the back in the middle.

  • Just wanted to explain that the cheddars misprice is due to the fact that their are 2 discounts going on 1 for jacobs and the other for mcvities - now when you grab one of each neither discount comes off hence the misprice as usually all mixed up or displayed as one on the shelves anyway.

Just been to Tesco Baldock (Extra), whisky had correct price (shame).
    However...

Thermos originals premier flask 0.5l, SEL £3.87, went through till at £4.92.

It's a very nice small black flask.

combine that with the £4 off £20 voucher Tesco had sent me, and a £2 off £20 sainsbury's had sent me, makes a nice cheap trip. :j
