Tesco misprices thread - please only post misprices here

i have had a few katherine jenkins cds and stevie wonder too, i noticed no prices on the cd posters again this week there are 8 tescos not far from me so i alternate stores so i don't get too well known at any of them.

first ever misprice tonight in the new Coatbridge Store near Glasgow

Persil 1.5 L with comfort stickered save 70p. I think the price should be £3.22? charged £3.79, all the rest of the range self prices seemed to be showing the lower price expert the one with comfort.

I bought a Filofax 2006 week on two pages diary insert from Tesco the other day..I think the shelf price was £2.79..I checked my receipt yesterday as I was taking some shoes back and they had charged me £4.49...I told CS last night that I had been charged wrong..She told me to bring back what I bought...I have the wrapper but the pages are now in my filofax...She scanned one last night after I took it to her one of the shelf to check the price and it's the right price with her £2.79..Will I still get my £4.49 when I take mine back?.The receipt just says filofax insert and not the full description of the insert..even though there aren't any at all priced at £4.49 anyway...

Plymouth Roborough have the Acer laptops in stock (I think its the 1021W) and there were two SELs, one showing a price around £468 and another for £498 but including a free camera. How is it possible to have two SELs for the same product ?

Tesco often make this mistake - unfortunately the laptop you refer to scans at the lower price (see my earlier post.....).

If it had scanned higher, then the second SEL with the lower price would be the basis for your R&R.

British ( I like to support home farming ! ) leg of lamb SEL 5.97 pack 6.17 at mereway tesco. Also lynard skynyrd Greatest hits CD SEL 10.77 pack 9.77.

CS called over shelf stacker and told him to remove stickers from other CD's but leave the SEL sticker on, so don't worry about overcharging other shoppers will you tesco !
It's at times like this I think we are doing a service and fighting back for all the overcharged customers of tesco's.

PS CS removed the lamb SEL so try other stores locally.

i got 2 katherine jenkins cd's charged 12.97 each instead of 7.97 each wow but in my store they change the prices straight away after you recieve the refund doh!

got a greenday cd today sel £7.97 sticker stuck to case £6.97 ,on my out of shop with me refund and cd,spotted the fairy book with wings stickered at £2.97 chanced that it would charge higher from previous posts i have seen about book ,as there was no sel.and yep charged at £3.97straight back customer services .said to same cs been over charged again,refund no prob.cs spoke to another cs asked who was in charge of that section he said well the book is the reps job and they dont come round often so we cant change the price.oh well said cs and handed me my money and book back.was tempted to go back and clear the shelf of them but didnt.
