Got 4 packs Finest Bacon SEL £2.06 Scan £2.48 Pack £2.48. Also got Lemon & Garlic Basted Chicken in a Bag SEL £2.99 pack and scan £3.99.

CS lady extremely nice and was going to refund the difference until I pointed out R&R. She said that was just for double-scans but I said it wasn't. She read it and agreed. £14 refund no problem.

    Very happy!

  • Gallows corner Tescos Extra today

Antonio Carluccio cookbook still out there, sticker says £12.97, goes through till at £14.97. It's been posted before, but makes a good present.

    Also:

Queens of the Stone Age CD, sticker says £9.97, SEL and till say £11.97. Result! This album ROCKS! :wall: much better than the other freebies I've had recently which all sold nicely on ebay, Ta v. muchly Mr. T

Also got the Verve CD, same deal...haven't listened to that one yet, so no review.

There was a member of staff working her way down the CD aisle with a big list to check, but I started down the opposite end, ha ha!
The CD's arrive in the store with the stickers on, apparently, and some poor soul has to peel them all off.
  • Not a misprice but a good time to stock up on VO5 shampoo or conditioner as clearance at 61p & 73p a bottle due to new 400ml sizes out now.

Also Tesco's own version of pantene pro v is in clearance at 23p for 200ml (including 2in1) and 41p for 400ml - seen online as well as in stores

    £1.99 a bottle for 400ml size vs 61p/73p for 300ml sizes (Boots 2 for £4!)

    Fill yer winter boots.

    Was back in today

    Guess what

    Identical product

Those price marked £2.06 had a £2.06 SEL

Those price marked £2.48 had a £2.48 SEL

    Cheeky or what?

Hope they go out of date on them

    They cannot do that!
If both labels are for the same product then you simply buy the £2.48 ones and get them refunded by stating the £2.06 label. It does not matter a jot what the pack price is!

As i said, today my Tescos were adamant that the offer had finished - so me getting 1 pack at £2.06 was lucky in their eyes as the offer had finished.

They could't explain why though: Hickory is £2.06(SEL) and the rest advertised as Special: Was £2.48 Now £2.48

I'll go back tomorrow and see if it's sorted!
    How much ?????????!!!
  • Got my first R&R yesterday, Euxton branch of Tesco near Chorley, ER season one, SEL 29 odd, and scanned at £39 the cheeky beggars. CS Lady couldn't have been nicer, got full refund and kept product!
  • Carefull with Mr T's finest bacon, £2.48 pack in my local store is 300g, £2.06 pack is 250g!!! CS argued that the offer was for 250g pack but stuck to my guns and after a 20 min arguement got R&R on 3 packs together with £12 silverside beef joint.....tastes even better when free!!!

Found another one yesterday but it was an expired offer with a yellow promo label up ending on 29/10 so I didn't risk it.

They were packs of Quick Cook Turkey Breasts. Pack price £7.22kg, SEL £7.22kg, yellow promo label £5.22kg. but with mini date saying offer ends 29/10/2005.

    So up to you guys!!

Whilst delving in the bacon, I found
2 Unsmoked Prime Gammon Steaks 500g- label £2.98 sel£2.34 ( The smoked were also mispriced and the cs didn't take the label from those)
It turned out that the label was for a smaller product: 360g
but as it was the only price right under these ( and the small ones were not there) the CS lady gave me a refund with no hassle. Great- as I had 3 packs.
In the queue beside me were a couple bringing back a BOGOF on Birdseye beef curry, a purple box, which had not gone through.I couldn't wait to see what happened, but it may be worth checking.
