  • John Heler Red Leicester £4.99 on packet, £4.59 on shelf (in the help yourself baskets of cheese on the deli)

Bought 3, took to CS. Very blank look from her as I explained. She went off, came back, 'yes the price is wrong, but they have the wrong ticket on'. Looked confused because I just stood there! Turned to colleague who said 'offer her 50p off, - that'll be ok, won't it?' I started to read out the policy 'oh no,' said CS lady 2 - we don't use that anymore!!!!!!! CS lady 1 gets on phone and explains it all to a manager who sends her off for the label, by which time CS lady 3 arrives . CS1 lady comes back (still looking confused) with ticket. CS lady 3 explains what to do, and when CS ladies 1 and 2 look at her astounded, she shrugs her shoulders and says 'I know, but it's what we do' !!!!!!!!!

Anyway, the price on the John Heler White Cheshire is also wrong(Branksome Poole store) if anyone wants some tomorrow - I wouldn't have eaten it so didn't get any. Go and confuse them again!!!!

As a warning, the large gammon which was priced at £8.48 on the label, and £7.97 on the shelf, even though it has £8.48 on the label, it may well scan at £7.97. It did at my local, so use the scanner often located in the clothing area.
Yes, this is also the case at Cambridge Newmarket Road store, but Butler's Finest Cheeses(4 lovely varieties), as noted earlier, was still SE9.95 per kg, but £9.99 on pack. Also the books as earlier posted-SE£3.79, but till £3.99. Many thanks to the MSers for these.

still the steak (10.43/ 10.48) around in all sizes, 1s 2s & 3/4 packs. CS said if the staff can't be bothered to check price tickets she can't be bothered to take it off
An amazing post Colin2511 - which store? Even felt slightly miffed yesterday when Big Hunt(in Robin Hood style)proved meatless, eggless and still haven't struck salmon gold.
    General question to MSers-
New wine offers are on - does it make sense to note closing date in order to check via scanner on following day?

  • Organic Wensleydale is mispriced at Tesco Stockport, £6.95 per kilo on shelf and £7.09 per kilo on packet. There was a whole shelf full there yesterday...
  • HI, it was Stockport (we went both ends of the day, and got same items) - tickets still on after we left !
