Also useful if you say wether its a Tesco, a Tesco Metro or a Tesco Express or whatever other versions there are.
I try not to read this thread. Our Tesco is only little, carries very few books/entertainment cheeses, meat. I havent found one mis price yet dispite wearing a groove too and from the self scanner sob
Hopefully the staff will get slacker at price checking as we move towards Christmas.

Topside fatted beef joint are out by a penny - SEL 6.28/kg and 6.29/kg on pack BUT £2.85/lb on both..
Bacon joints SEL £3.38/kg and £3.42/kg on packs.
Tried this one at my local Tesco's and won.. Price per KG is actually more expensive than price/lb.
Working with 2.2lbs to 1KG. 2.85*2.2= £6.27 KG. £/KG on pack is more than £/lb so not sure whether this would make a difference or not.
EU Trading laws dictate ( I believe) that all weighted products MUST be sold by the Metric weight. Most stores include the imperial equivalent because it's what customers in the UK want.
So, if the metric weight/price is wrong, then there's an arguement. It's also fair to suggest that if the price per pound is wrong there's a valid argument as the spirit of the law is that the shopper shouldn't have to study packaging, etc to decide what the price should be. If there is an indicator suggesting that it's actually cheaper than you are charged, then that SHOULD be enough to argue the point. The point being that the Pack Price against the Shelf price (or poster, et al) was MISLEADING.0 -

Pack prices all going through correctly based on £9.99/kg.
Big sign in front of cheeses advertising them at £9.95/kg (whoops).
The 3 cheeses they have as a "Buy 3 for £3" have £1.19 printed on the pack.
The shelf has £1.24 on 2 flavours but scan at £1.19 - Keep an eye on these!
A Cambs store.
An interesting point on the finest cheese misprice is that the pack price per kilo is £9.99. I have noticed that if the weight on the pack is 0.234kg or 234g then you are charged £2.34. They are rounding up the price to £10.00/kg anyway!
This would be a very intersting one to try if someone cannot get it at the £9.95/kg "error price" yet!Keep SmilingSite member number 24

OK Yesterday I got the eagles at £7.97 marked on shelf at £14.97, this is an old one but interestingly the price has changed and now scans at £9.96 a couple of week ago it was scanning at £14.97. This was Hamble (S'ton) bit of a policy problem will post on other thread.
Got another two copies in London today, no shelf stickers but cases again marked £7.97..0 -

If ever you need to know: lbs x 2.2046 = kg0
