  • Tesco bullsbridge- my first knowledgeable price war!! Although shelf tickets taken down now.

Red cheese (Healthy living) shelf at £1.17 and some packets had price of £1.29 (which I got one of). Went through as £1.29.

Farmhouse cheese (healthy living) shelf at £1.89, and some packets had price of £1.99 (which I got one of). Went through as £1.99.

    Free cheese!! Yeah!

Must say that they are very tight at the bullsbridge one, but not unfair though.

Just a shame that the healthy living cheese doesn't bode so well as 'cheese on toast'.

EDIT: woman near me was complaining of moisturiser , although i cannot say which one, was overcharged. Should have been £5.99? and was in the process of getting her money back. Boy do they make you wait on these things! Can anyone shed some light?
  • The butter basted turkey breast joint has £3.98 on the packet, but is shown as £2.98 on the shelf. Went through at £3.98 at 2 different Tescos - full refund at both, although one CS initially tried to argue that they'd made a mistake when printing the shelf label so it didn't count!

But, watch out for the version with stuffing as it has £3.98 on both the packet and the shelf label.
  • Great Yarmouth yesterday. Leg of Lamb mispriced - don't recall the pack and SEL differences. ALSO, a new product. Pork joint with an Apple and Sage Stuffing - £3.99 per KG on SEL and £4.19 on packet.
  • I went shopping last night in my local Tesco's (Kettering) and there not a bloomin wrong price in there.

My b/f wasn''t best pleased with me scratting through the meat and cheese isles for half an hour but you never know.
  • Finally plucked up the courage to get the jem CD, poster still up at £7.97 , scanned at 9.77

I actually had to take CS lady to show her poster as she said all chart CD's were £9.77 When I pointed out the poster, it as immediately removed , back to desk and full refund given.

Not found any other misprices, they seem to be on the ball mostly

    :j

surely JEM will be No.1 next week :rotfl:
  • I found one Tesco Finest vintage mature cheddar £1.73 on packet but £1.59 on the shelf.

  • Tescos' pricing reflects the surreal nature of this classic film...remastered on DVD.

£6.97 each, or according to the yellow label in the Cambridge store, 2 for £15!

I was tempted to push my luck and see if they charged me £15 for 2 and then claim I was overcharged. Unfortunately they only had one copy in stock.

That's the big one they're turning into an Extra, not the Caister one, yes?

  • Tesco Medium Mature Cheddar (medium packs), about 40p difference per kg (something like £5.09/£5.49) at Branksome store, Poole. As I still have 4 packs of various cheeses from previous visits, I thought I'd leave it for someone else to discover!!

That's right. Mostly they seemed to be on the ball.

I always forget that the Caister one is there. Must try it out.
