SKY TV -Technical help , customer service, phone number!

All who have Sky have all b1tched~d at skys customer service , so bad it takes prizes at it but the biggest complaint is not answering the phone at &p a minute or just been charged to get customer service, not acheive anything.

Sky number 01506 421 721 (do not give your telephone number just wait)

allso Skys numbers are between the range 700-751 for all their departments:D

Hardly surprising, the above post is about 18 months old, the 0844 number is a profit generating number for Sky.

just found this one 0800 0466432 not tried it yet but hopefully it'll work!

This number 0800 0466432 works fine and is answered quickly if you dont enter your tel number when prompted. Thanks for the info.:j

Thanks shopper2009. I have just used this number to contact Sky, and as you said if you do not enter your phone number and wait until it tells you that you will be connected to someone, then it was answered very quickly. Cheers again.

This 0800 number has also had number not in use placed on it now most dissappointed - i still have a sky+hd box that doesnt want to work

I've got to ring sky tommorrow now as we had a power cut this evening and I think it's damaged the sky+ box.
It's stuck on off with the red light on but the remote won't switch it on, I have switched it off and unplugged at the wall for one minute then switched it back on at the socket but it won't turn green when I switch on, it just stays red.
If anyone has any ideas they will be greatly appreciated.

Thompson Sky+ box?
PSU's blown (Power Supply Unit) Thompsons are notorious for it.You can get it repaired if out of warrenty,list of repairers at top of the Digital TV Board.
I've just spent less that 5 minutes talking to Sky as my 3 month old Sky HD remote has givenup the ghost,now one'll take 5 days to arrive.:mad:
