I have had 2 free energy saving bulbs sent to me but not by B.Gas, they were from my supplier Atlantic, so it isnt just BG that are doing it !You live..You learn.:)0

I had mine ages ago, and know people who've just had them. Presumably with 16 million customers they take a while to send out... I've also had some from Powergen who did some kind of deal with the local council who gave them out. Now I just have to wait for some bulbs to go so I can start using them all!0

I switched from BG to Scottish Power about a month ago.

It seems ironic that they are energy saving bulbs, when they are wasting money and resources by sending 52 million energy saving light bulbs to people who dont necessarily need them.
We have the little spotlights in our ceilings and so have no use for these bulbs, and have to find somewhere to keep them until the need arises - grr!!
And there seems to be a whole host of celebrities stepping up to be part of the campaign to promote the wasteful and irritating scheme...0
