Goodness me, what a day. I went to try on some wedding dresses  . It was a really good day, and I was there for 2 hours and tried on a total of 4 dresses!! But there are 2 that I'm torn between. One is gorgeous, really classy and beautiful beading with a nice long train. The other has got a stunning bodice, and is very very puffy, with a huuuuge train. The only problem is the second one I had to try on in a bubblegum pink colour as they didn't have ivory in stock. I did look like a cross between Jordan and a Disney princess!! I had to try and imagine it in ivory!!

It shows how little I know about wedding dress shopping. They only have one size in each style, and you try that on and then tie you, pin you in. You then have to pay a 60% desposit, and don't start measuring until 5 months before the wedding. So my first favourite dress was a size 16 which is lace up, but we had to button in cos it was way too big. And the second favourite was a size 8 and fitted like a glove, if not a bit too pink :) I am most definitely not a size 8. At the moment I'm a 12/14.

I was really hoping to put down a deposit soon, but if I go with that shop, I don't have a spare 60%. I want to pay off all debts before I pay for my dress. But then that would mean waiting until early next year :( Can I wait that long to order the dress of my dreams???

Looking forward to tomorrow, hopefully sunny, so I can get up nice and early and get cracking on the garden. Have this whole patch that is full of weeds that I need to clear before we can lay down some crazy pazing. How I long for the chance to relax in my garden, not just work on it

I am sooooo tired, can't wait for the weekend. I have overslept 3 days out of 4 this week. Have not been to the gym because of oversleeping, and just feel so tired all the time.

Was reading MSE email today, and found the Hoxton Hotel link where they were selling 500 rooms for a £1. Thought I'd give it a go, as the rooms were being released at 1pm. I had the html link and Roboform all set up, and blow me down I got a room for a £1 on a Saturday night in August!! I'm going to try and get some cheap theatre tickets and treat my OH for putting up with me :D . I did get in trouble with the IT guy at work for downloading Roboform. Oh well :o

Diet is going well. Lost another 2 pounds, so total weight loss of 11 pounds :T . No idea where I've lost the weight, prob just water :rotfl:

Been rather lax on DIY. I keep starting jobs and not finishing. I worked on the garden last weekend as the weather was so nice. I need to make some kind of list I suppose and stick to it.

Now feeling very jealous of my dog. He's fast asleep and must be having puppy dreams the way he's twitching. I think I fancy bed myself now.

Thank you Lucielle :D . When I had my lightbulb moment in April, it wasn't just about my debt , it was about my weight too :D . I'm in it for the long term and trying to change my eating habits rather than just a quick fix to lose weight and then gain it again. But my clothes don't feel any looser, so goodness knows where I've lost all those lbs!!!! Just had a super early lunch which prob wasn't the best idea cos now I'll be starving by 2pm :rotfl:

I've fallen off the debt wagon slightly :o I'm too embarrased to say, but enough that some extra in my pay cheque won't be going into savings this month towards a F&F. However, I can confidently say it is DIY related, and me and OH have been umming and ahhing for a year, and at least now it's done. But I will not fall off again this month, and every spare penny in my bank account will go towards paying my cc off.

Weekly weigh in yesterday, and I've nearly lost a stone!!!! 1 lb to go and I've hit that figure. Though once I've lost what I want to, I'm going to have to learn to keep it off because my final wedding dress fittings aren't upril May 2009

Thank you NYCB, but the amount I paid towards the "offending item" should have been paid off my debts instead :o . I shall have to be more detrmined next month - roll on pay day :)
