I've just read this thread, lucky you I've had a similar problem with my housing benefit.
I've always been paid it 2 weekly up until the middle of April when for no reason I started to get it weekly, no probs for me but I've not recieved any this week. I called today only to be told that the people taking calls were busy so could I leave a number and they would call me back in 24/48 hrs, so I went down to my local office to be told the woman who deals with it is off but I can make an app for next mon when she gets back!! no use to me espec as my rent is due next week.
I've no clue what to do.

hi, it is my i.s that i have changed to weekly payments. my dla will stil be fortnightly. i received a giro for my is yesterday but no dla as yet...0

i didnt no you could get it every 2 weeks just thought it came every month.savings for 2012.. New year new me.. Going to save save save... and not spend spend spend. :rotfl:

you can have it paid weekly fortnightly or monthly, you just have to ask them. that has been my experience anyway0
